Pathways Built for Purpose

The Pathways to Trades Class, offered to Year 10 students, provides a distinctive, future-focused alternative for students who are best suited to entering an apprenticeship or traineeship at the completion of Stage 5.

This tailored program, unique to Arndell, reflects our commitment to personalised pathways and real-world learning, combining academic rigour with practical application. It provides a supportive Christian learning environment that recognises and values different pathways to success, equipping students for life beyond the College.

Students continue their elective studies while undertaking a modified curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History and Biblical Studies - designed specifically to prepare them for the workforce and future training opportunities. The class also participates in a number of service-learning programs throughout the year, reinforcing character, responsibility and a heart for serving others.

With a strong emphasis on engagement, wellbeing and belonging, the Pathways to Trades Class builds confidence, improves literacy and numeracy, and equips students with practical skills, recognised certificates and clear post-school opportunities.

Small class sizes allow for flexibility, personalised learning and meaningful teacher-student support, ensuring each student is known, supported and guided toward a successful transition beyond school.
