Investing in the Future of Every Arndell Student

Future-Focused Facilities for Future-Focused Learning

At Arndell Anglican College, our commitment is to lead with faith, nurture with care, and teach with excellence. As we step into the next chapter of our journey, we are excited to announce that our updated College Master Plan has been formally approved by The Anglican Schools Corporation, providing a clear vision for the future development of our campus.

Built on Purpose. Guided by Vision.

Nationally recognised for its vision for Christian education and excellence, our Strategic Intent 2026–2028 challenges us to lead with faith, nurture with care, and teach with excellence. Today, we see that vision begin to take physical shape.

The Master Plan serves as the direct physical manifestation of this strategy. Every decision has been informed by educational outcomes, wellbeing, and one central question:

"How can our campus better support our students, our staff, and our community?"

Arndell’s Transformational Master Plan
"Our Master Plan is more than buildings - it is the physical expression of our commitment to faith, excellence, and the flourishing of every student. Each space is intentionally designed to support learning, character formation, and community.”

— Dr Gareth Leechman, Headmaster

Stage 0 (2026/2027): Modernising and refreshing key Secondary School learning environments.

Refreshing our core academic footprint to enhance daily collaboration, independent study, and student wellbeing.

  • Refurbishment of the Mears / Secondary School Library building.
  • Upgraded, flexible classrooms and study spaces designed for contemporary teaching.
  • Enhanced student wellbeing and academic engagement through modern environment design.

Stage 1 (2027/2028): A Future-Focused Agriculture Precinct
Creating a contemporary Agriculture and STEM environment grounded in sustainability and experiential learning. Bridging sustainable primary industries with high-tech STEM pathways directly on campus.

  • New Agriculture precinct on the lower Secondary School oval.
  • Contemporary Agriculture shed featuring dedicated classrooms and learning spaces.
  • Relocated orchards, paddocks, and upgraded irrigation/farm infrastructure.
  • Hands-on STEM-rich experiences integrated with real-world and emerging technologies.

Stage 2/3 (2028/2029): Expanding Outdoor Spaces & Student Wellbeing

Unlocking new recreation, play, and centralised pastoral care spaces while prioritising student connection, active play, and accessibility.

  • Construction of a new Junior School Oval precinct, play areas, cricket nets, and undercover multi-purpose hardcourts.
  • Relocation of existing PDHPE, Sport, Visual Arts, and Junior School music rooms to the existing Agriculture Farm area near the front of the College.
  • Relocation of the Wellbeing and Advisory Centre next to the Mears building, creating a centralised hub for our students.

Stage 4 (2031/2032): The “VAST” Centre: A New Era for Arndell

Delivering a transformational whole-campus, Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, facility supporting creativity, innovation, sport, wellbeing, and community connection.

  • New double-court gymnasium and strength & conditioning facilities.
  • New College café/canteen and vibrant community gathering spaces.
  • Specialist learning studios, classrooms, and workshops for TAS, Visual Arts, and Sport/PDHPE.
  • Large-scale assembly, exhibition, and examination space capable of comfortably hosting whole school community events.

Please note: “VAST” is currently an internal working title for the project and the building will be formally named at a later stage.

All stages of the Master Plan have been carefully designed to minimise disruption to student learning and daily College life. Throughout each phase of development, students will continue to have seamless access to learning spaces, facilities, and programs.
