Key Dates for 2027 Scholarships:
- Applications Open: Wednesday 5 November, 2025
- Applications Close: Tuesday 10 February, 2026
- Testing Day: Saturday 28 February, 2026 (Please note that there is no alternate testing date. Students who are unable to attend will unfortunately be ineligible for the scholarship.)
We're fortunate to be able to offer a range of scholarships for entry into Years 7 and 11.
Scholarships are a privilege and an honour. Recipients are expected to uphold the highest standards in academic performance, effort, behaviour, and participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Scholarships are awarded on merit at the Headmaster’s discretion and may be reviewed by the College at any time throughout the life of the scholarship.
Scholarship applications are open to both current and future students.
Arndell Anglican College will be offering three scholarship categories as follows:
- Academic Scholarship - Year 7 and Year 11
- All Rounder Scholarship - Year 7
- Performing Arts (Music) Scholarship - Year 7.
Assessment Criteria:
Academic Scholarships:
▪ Based on ACER Cooperative Scholarship Test results and application responses.
▪ Selected applicants invited to meet the Headmaster.
All Rounder Scholarships:
▪ Based on ACER Cooperative Test results and application responses.
▪ Applicants must demonstrate contribution in at least two of: Academic, Performing Arts, Debating & Public Speaking, Leadership & Service, Sport, Other.
▪ Selected applicants invited to meet the Headmaster.
Performing Arts (Music) Scholarships:
▪ Minimum standard: Grade 4 or 5 AMEB (or equivalent).
▪ Based on application and performance video.
▪ Selected applicants invited to meet the Headmaster.
▪ ACER registration not required for Performing Arts (Music) Scholarship.
Scholarship Value:
▪ Awarded for a portion of the College Fee (percentage and duration determined by the Headmaster).
▪ Service Charge and all other expenses (uniforms, tours, private music tuition, etc.) remain payable.
ACER Cooperative Scholarship Test:
▪ Required for all Academic applicants
▪ Required for all All Rounder applicants.
▪ Not required for Music-only applicants (unless applying for other categories).
Application Process:
New Students:
- Submit an Application to Enrol, if you haven't already.
- Submit a 2027 Scholarship Application – Year 7 | Year 11.
- Register with ACER (See Music exemption details above).
Current Students:
- Submit a 2027 Scholarship Application – Year 7 | Year 11.
- Register with ACER (See Music exemption details above).
Required Supporting Documents:
Please submit the following after the end of the 2025 School Year:
Academic & All Rounder:
▪ 2025 Semester 1 & 2 school reports
▪ Year 5 NAPLAN results
▪ Academic awards (last 2 years)
▪ Other relevant awards/results (last 2 years)
▪ No participation awards, work samples, or items before 2024.
Performing Arts (Music):
▪ AMEB (or equivalent) results
▪ Awards/results (last 2 years)
▪ Short performance video (max 5 minutes) on USB
▪ No participation awards, work samples, or items before 2024.
