Parents & Friends Association

The Parents & Friends Association is an integral part of the Arndell College Community. Through the many and varied events organised each year the P&F raises valuable funds for the College to purchase extra resources needed to help provide the best possible education and environment for our students.

Just as importantly the P&F activities provide invaluable opportunities for all members of Arndell College to come together as a community – parents, students and staff – to plan, work and play together. General Meetings of the P&F each term enable a direct line of communication between ‘management’ and the parent body, encouraging an open exchange of information and ideas. All parents and staff are welcome.

The wide range of activities ensures many opportunities for involvement in many different ways and different levels. These include:

P&F EXECUTIVE & COMMITTEE – Meeting regularly throughout the year this Committee is the core of the P&F. It is responsible for or involved with, all activities and functions.

CHOOSE ONE ACTIVITY that interests you most to help organise and present.

FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIP is available for all functions. A great way to get your business, goods or services known throughout the school.

DONATIONS of goods or services for prizes or auction items are vital to the success of all our functions – again a great way to promote your business while helping your school.

PARTICIPATION & ATTENDANCE - Make sure you give support by coming along to at least one of our functions throughout the year – if not all of them!

VOLUNTEERING your time to help on the day of a function e.g. working bee, muffin baking, equestrian carnival, family fun day etc.

WORKING BEES The rapid development of the school grounds is due in a large part to the fantastic effort put in at each of the working bees we have held over the last 4 years. With new work and much maintenance still to be done the working bees will continue in 2008. This is a great opportunity to exercise your green thumb… or brown or pink or any other colour. No expertise needed, just enthusiasm and hard work – the rewards and results are fantastic.

UNIFORM SHOP Voluntary help in the Uniform Shop is needed to ensure and maintain the success, viability and quality of service to our families. Profits from the Uniform Shop support the P&F’s fundraising efforts. Contact Liz Moore – 4572 3254
