Preparing for Secondary Study

Stage 3

Years 5 and 6 is an exciting and productive time for students as they complete their Junior School experience and prepare for senior study.

As well as being part of the band program, the students have opportunities to participate in school camps, the Buddies Program, Mini Market day, discos and Sports Gala days.

  • Democracy
  • Environmental Matters

School camps provide students with the opportunity to get to know each other and feel part of a team. Students in Year 5 have the opportunity to learn about the Goldfields and get first hand experience at gold panning. The students spend three days in Bathurst and Hill End, experiencing what life was like during the Goldrush. Students in Year 6 attend an Anglican Youthworks camp at Port Hacking where they have the opportunity to abseil, canoe, raft, hike, as well as get to learn more about Jesus through Christian discovery sessions.

Every year, six student leaders are elected to represent the students at various functions throughout the year.
