Equestrian Riders

College Procedure for Arndell Students Entering Equestrian Events
The following procedure must be carried out by all students intending to represent Arndell Anglican College at an Equestrian Event. Nominations must be forwarded onto the school before an event can be entered, failure to do this may mean that the rider risks not being covered by the school’s insurance. To make sure that you are covered by the school’s insurer please adhere to the following procedures:
1.   email requesting to be nominated into the selected event.In your e-mail you need to outline the following details: 
(a)   Rider’s name;
(b)   Current year at school;
(c)   Event details they have selected to enter;
(d)   Parent/guardian name and contact details;
(e)   Notify if a copy of the Equestrian “Certificate of Currency” is required;
(f)    Notify if the Headmaster signature must be obtained.
·         If the Headmaster’s approval is required, Mrs Whelan (PA to the Headmaster) will be notified of the student’s name and event by the Equestrian Co-ordinator prior to the rider/parent/guardian coming into the front office to obtain this.
2.   After receiving a reply acknowledging acceptance for the nominated event parents can then proceed with entering their child into the event.
3.   If the entry requires a Team Mangers signature, a return email will be sent outling the procedures for obtaining signatures
4.   If the rider withdraws from the event notice must be sent to
5.   On completion of the event, results and/or photos can be sent to acknowledgement of the student’s achievement.
Please note: when representing Arndell Anglican College at an Equestrian Event the correct attire must by worn and appropriate conduct carried out.
